"Victoria" is the first F1 Hybrid Ranunculus ever developed for commercial cutflower use, which can be grown from seed instead of corms. The "Victoria Series" produces gorgeous, colorful flowers not seen in Ranunculus, which are popular as early spring cutflowers. The extremely colorful and large full double flowers make this series highly useful and popular as cutflowers and garden plants. Seed sown in September/October and grown with minimum temperature of 5 ºC. (40 ºF.) will produce 2 to 3 stems per plant in March/April the following spring. From the second year, they can be grown from corms producing as many as 8 - 10 stems per plant. A considerable variation in color will be found in the shades being offered, but nevertheless, highly useful and suitable for cutflower purposes.
